Inspector/Auditor – Facility Oversight

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform on-site assessments and interviews with staff and residents to gather high-quality data.

• Compile findings into concise, actionable reports that highlight deficiencies and adhere to OIG/OIE standards.

• Assist in the development of intricate workpapers and prepare site-specific reports detailing deficiencies and recommendations.

• Collaborate with medical subject matter experts to incorporate specialized findings into draft reports.

• Willingness to travel 1 to 2 weeks each month and be on-call 24 hours for unannounced facility visits.

• Capability to walk over 15,000 steps, stand for 8–10 hours, and transport equipment across various facility terrains.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in performance auditing or inspection following GAGAS and Blue Book standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Public Policy, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Excellent writing abilities with the capacity to produce comprehensive assessments under tight timelines.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or French is an advantage.

• Must successfully pass a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) public trust fitness screening.

• Should have no actual or perceived conflicts of interest (COI) concerning the facilities being reviewed.
