This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide support for product analytics related to the NPR App, website, and video, collaborating closely with the Insights Senior Manager of product analytics.
• Create and oversee measurement plans for NPR's proprietary platforms utilizing Google Tag Manager, ensuring quality control of tags post-implementation.
• Independently generate SQL queries to deliver performance analytics across app, video, and website datasets.
• Maintain key relationships with stakeholders in the Product team to fulfill daily analytics requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Data Products to advise on the design of App dashboards and tools based on stakeholder requirements.
• Facilitate a sustainable system for self-service app analytics.
• Assist in diagnosing and addressing data-related issues.
• Optimize scheduled queries, data summaries, and other infrastructure components.
• Create guides and documentation for analytics related to the app, video, and website.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience with BigQuery and/or Dataform.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in Google Firebase data and app analytics.
• Strong expertise in GA4 or comparable large raw datasets pertaining to digital behavior.
• Over 2 years of experience developing measurement plans and quality checking tags in accordance with Google Tag Manager implementation standards.
• Familiarity with Looker.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets, including the ability to write complex formulas, validate data, and automate reporting.
• Understanding the lifecycle of data tracking in videos, websites, and/or apps, from tagging through analysis to inform measurement plans based on practical usage.
• Proven experience collaborating with technical teams in a successful cross-departmental collaborative setting, particularly in creating and executing measurement plans for digital products.
• Demonstrated ability to work with team members and stakeholders to identify needs for dashboards and translate those needs into data infrastructure plans.
• Capacity to initiate work independently with minimal supervision, as well as thrive in a collaborative team setting.
