This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the growth and management of the Risk & Regulatory Consulting practice area.
• Plan and lead comprehensive IT audits and examinations for clients.
• Implement daily project activities according to detailed project plans, scopes, and objectives.
• Create project plans and work programs.
• Manage scope alterations, evaluate impacts, document changes, and obtain client approval.
• Build and nurture project teams to deliver client-centric business solutions.
• Oversee work based on established project and work plans, as appropriate.
• Conduct client status meetings, prepare and evaluate deliverables, secure sign-off, escalate issues, and identify additional work opportunities.
• Track project budgets against actuals by utilizing invoices and expense data.
• Review and approve project reports, timesheets, and expense claims.
• Contribute to business development through networking, events, proposals, and market insights.
• Define required skills and estimated hours for proposals and write proposal content.
• Lead client training sessions, webinars, and presentations; contribute articles to trade magazines.
• Generate billable revenue while delivering high-quality client work.
• Act as a Career Advisor, providing career development, mentoring, issue resolution, and performance management.
• Document and provide end-of-project performance reviews along with timely feedback.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Accounting is required.
• An MBA and/or professional certifications are preferred.
• A minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in public accounting or professional services, ideally with a Big 4 firm.
• Experience in the insurance industry is mandatory.
• CISA designation is required.
• CISSP and CPA designations are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of information systems risk assessments, controls reviews, and cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley, Model Audit Rule (MAR), COBIT, NIST, and SSAE 16 / SOC 1, 2, 3 frameworks and reports.
• Preferred working knowledge of data-extract software such as ACL or IDEA.
• IT security experience across Windows, Unix, routers, switches, databases, web security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, RACF, ACF2, z/OS, wireless, mobile, and cloud security.
• Proficient in PC skills and experienced in creating presentations, spreadsheets, and project plans.
• Familiarity with TeamMate, Access, SQL, Visual Basic, Microsoft products, databases, and other applications.
• Proven project management experience.
• Ability to engage with executives and senior management.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and statistical-sampling skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Client-service oriented with a collaborative, consultative approach.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Proficient in team building and development.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Capability to uphold the Firm’s ethical and professional standards.
