Information Security Architect – Endpoints, Servers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provides technical direction and leadership for the IT architecture, establishing standards, designs, and implementation methods for the company's application systems.

• Develops, assesses, and executes plans and design proposals for impactful IT solutions.

• Oversees the security architecture, design, and management of endpoints and servers.

• Drives security initiatives by designing, researching, proposing, and implementing new security controls for endpoints and servers.

• Offers consultation and oversight regarding endpoint and server security for customer connections and during mergers and acquisitions.

• Performs security architecture evaluations of current and proposed systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending suitable controls and mitigation measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A post-graduate degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred.

• At least 12 years of experience in a relevant field is required.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing security controls for endpoint and server platforms.

• Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, such as Crowdstrike.

• Experience with compliance scanning tools like Qualys or similar platforms.

• Knowledge and experience with infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory and MS Intune.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Understanding of Software Engineering and Architectural Principles and methodologies.

• Awareness of cloud technologies.
