Independent Quantitative Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• We are seeking individuals with experience as systematic traders or quantitative researchers/analysts: Specialists in systematic strategies involving equities, equity derivatives, and multi-asset instruments (including index and single-name listed and OTC options, futures, etc.);

• Strong emphasis on research integrity: signal research, feature engineering, thorough backtesting over various time frames, realistic frictions, and clear validation;

• Capability to merge market intuition with statistical methods to develop and sustain unique proprietary datasets and models (including data collection, cleaning, normalization, mapping, signal construction, and production pipelines) that are challenging to replicate and yield consistent advantages;

• Excellent writing and communication abilities: capable of clearly articulating and defending research perspectives in published insights and in discussions with institutional clients;

• Examples of deliverables include: Actionable trade and investment recommendations based on statistically validated signals and market insights; Research on factors, risk premia, and alpha; Event-driven and catalyst frameworks (such as earnings, guidance, corporate actions, index changes, macroeconomic reports) with empirical advantages and strategic playbooks; Analysis of cross-asset linkages and regime dynamics (risk-on/off, inflation, sensitivity to rates, liquidity, positioning, and flows);

• High-touch service provided to select institutional clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant research, trading, or investment experience catering to institutional clients (8 years or more).

• Proven quantitative track record and evidence of original work (datasets, models, tools, strategy research).

• Ability to produce distinctive insights for professional investors (structured, concise, and defensible).
