This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Deliver translation, post-editing, proofreading, revision, and finalization of multilingual content across diverse formats.

• Ensure linguistic precision, fluency, and uniformity, encompassing spelling, grammar, punctuation, and terminology.

• Serve as the primary language specialist and address all related inquiries.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of language resources (termbases, style guides, translation memories).

• Localize various content types (e.g., medical, legal, marketing, educational).

• Conduct bilingual and monolingual assessments to guarantee compliance with quality standards.

• Execute quality control (QC) checks, ensuring completeness and adherence to client specifications (content, formatting, non-linguistic elements).

• Review and validate translations from freelancers, providing structured feedback for enhancement.

• Collaborate with fellow translators to pinpoint and rectify errors, inconsistencies, terminology issues, and linguistic inquiries.

• Work closely with project managers/coordinators to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of QA processes, procedures, and CAPA investigations.

• Manage multiple projects, effectively prioritizing under tight deadlines.

• Native proficiency in German with near-native fluency in English.

• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or other relevant professional certification in translation or localization.

• Over 1 year of experience in translation, editing, or content production.

• Specialization in medical, market research, and/or pharmaceuticals.

• Prior experience in translation/proofreading within the market research/business sector is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience in editing for clarity, grammar, spelling, consistency, and precision with minimal revisions required.
