Identity Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create processes, procedures, and scripts to facilitate and automate the configuration of directory services components for both on-premises and cloud environments.

• Design directory architecture modifications required to support both on-premises and cloud-based systems and applications.

• Develop and maintain highly available and scalable Enterprise Microservices/REST APIs.

• Create, design, and support tools and procedures for synchronizing identities with cloud platforms and SaaS applications.

• Analyze and enhance the security infrastructure and design of directory services, including site coverage, replication topology, OU design, and delegation of authority.

• Assess vendor products and internal tools.

• Identify security threats and strengthen security posture through the design, implementation, configuration, and documentation of system changes and security controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field.

• Over 10 years of IT development experience, with a preference for PowerShell, Java, Python, C#, .Net, and VBScript.

• Experience across multiple platforms, including EntraID, Google Cloud Identity, Windows, Linux, and virtualization in an enterprise setting.

• Knowledgeable about computer security topics, including security threats, malware, and network protocols such as TCP/IP, Kerberos, LDAP, and DNS.

• Experience with directory services, including prior work with EntraID, Google Cloud Identity, ADLDS, and Active Directory.

• Experience with directory synchronization, including prior work with EntraID Connect, SCIM sync, Provisioning Agent/ECMA, and/or Cloud Sync.

• GIAC, CISSP, SSCP, or other security-related certifications are desirable.

• Experience with Agile and Scrum/Kanban project management methodologies is preferred.
