This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Foster a comprehensive understanding of data and task workflows within operational departments.
• Relay the status of ongoing tasks and issues to end users, team leaders, and DataOps management.
• Evaluate and resolve insurance claims, eligibility, and import/export file mapping concerns.
• Detect and address issues related to enrollment and changes in enrollment within EDI files, collaborating with engineering teams as necessary.
• Oversee ongoing EDI testing, implementations, and system upgrades.
• Diagnose and document operational errors, including issues with file movement and SFTP connectivity.
• Assess data files and reports against established business requirements to ensure data integrity and pinpoint gaps.
• Promote continuous enhancement of data workflows, documentation, and operational procedures.
• Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead or DataOps Manager.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in system analysis, data analysis, and/or process improvement.
• At least 1 year of experience in the healthcare sector; experience with Third Party Administrators (TPA) is preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree is desirable, but not mandatory.
• Strong skills in analytical thinking, critical analysis, and problem resolution.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Familiarity with flat file data formats, such as CSV or pipe-delimited files.
• Experience with data analysis software including Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, assess requirements, and provide insights that aid in business decision-making.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Knowledge or experience with ANSI 5010 transactions (837, 835, 834, 270/271) is a plus.
