This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Manage both inbound and outbound calls with prospective and current customers interested in health insurance options.

• Perform needs assessments to grasp clients' healthcare needs, financial circumstances, and coverage preferences.

• Clarify health insurance plans, benefits, coverage options, premiums, deductibles, and eligibility criteria.

• Assist customers through the enrollment process and manage the necessary documentation.

• Provide precise plan information while ensuring adherence to established guidelines.

• Cultivate trust and rapport by offering tailored assistance and solutions.

• Address customer objections and concerns using a consultative sales technique.

• Follow up with leads and prospects to enhance enrollment possibilities.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, applications, and follow-ups in CRM systems.

• Achieve individual and team sales targets, quality benchmarks, and performance indicators.

• Keep abreast of insurance products, market developments, and company policies.

• Ensure the confidentiality and proper management of customer personal information.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, call center, BPO, or roles related to insurance.

• Prior experience in selling health insurance, Medicare, ACA plans, or other insurance products is strongly preferred.

• Experience working with U.S. customers is advantageous.

• Excellent verbal communication and active listening abilities.

• Sales-driven mindset with the capacity to close deals effectively.

• Customer-centric approach characterized by empathy and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in handling objections and simplifying complex information.

• Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.

• Ability to operate under performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Comfortable utilizing CRM systems and digital tools.

• Advanced level of English proficiency (B2/C1 preferred).

• Strong reading comprehension skills for insurance documentation and customer information.

• Active U.S. Health Insurance License as per state requirements is a preferred qualification.

• Experience with ACA Marketplace, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, or private health insurance products is preferred.

• Familiarity with U.S. healthcare terminology and enrollment procedures is preferred.
