Head of Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Safeguard against threats posed by state actors and internal risks.

• Define and implement security measures for NEAR Intents and NEAR One.

• Develop security standards, auditing strategies, and release gating protocols.

• Lead incident response efforts across the ecosystem.

• Design the architecture for key management.

• Create and execute a strategy for continuous testing.

• Establish an efficient security function.

• Act as a voting member of the NEAR Security Committee with institutional partners.

• Set security practices for AI and agent systems.

• A demonstrated security leader in an environment where mistakes are not tolerated.

• Highly technical with the capability to interpret Terraform modules.

• Approach problems from first principles with an understanding of ROI on audits.

• Exceptional at system design and risk mitigation.

• Proficient in cryptocurrency risk or able to quickly develop this expertise.

• Possess clear authority over security matters without hesitation in enforcement or persuasion.

• Maintain composure in public situations regarding disclosures and reporting.
