Guidewire Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Directed the comprehensive architecture, design, and technical execution of Guidewire InsuranceSuite products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

• Offered technical leadership and strategic guidance across various projects.

• Assessed business needs and converted them into scalable technical solutions.

• Crafted and documented integration strategies utilizing Guidewire APIs, plugins, messaging, and external systems.

• Established architecture standards, best practices, and development protocols.

• Conducted architecture evaluations to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to security standards.

• Collaborated with cross-disciplinary teams, including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure groups.

• Mentored and guided developers and junior architects in best practices for Guidewire development.

• Assisted in pre-sales efforts, including technical proposals and effort estimates.

• Ensured project delivery aligns with enterprise architecture and client expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 8 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years as a Guidewire architect.

• Strong proficiency in at least one of the core Guidewire systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

• In-depth knowledge of Guidewire Configuration and Integration, including proficiency in the Gosu language.

• Familiarity with the Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in designing REST/SOAP APIs and integrating with external systems.

• Solid understanding of database architecture, web services, message queuing, and DevOps methodologies.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Preferred Certifications (Optional): Guidewire Certified Specialist (in ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or BillingCenter), AWS or Azure Cloud Certifications, TOGAF or other architecture frameworks (desirable).
