Group Manager, Product Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Recruit, develop, and guide a high-achieving team to implement our product vision and strategy that yields measurable business results.

• Oversee design initiatives of substantial scope encompassing vision, strategy, and execution.

• Establish streamlined standards and processes that harmonize quality, capability, and speed.

• Contribute to product strategy and roadmaps aligned with company goals.

• Utilize AI tools proficiently — from rapid prototyping and generative exploration to delivering faster, higher-quality outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with teams in the US and across various time zones, showcasing strong asynchronous communication and a cooperative, low-ego working approach.

• Cultivate relationships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data Science to create cohesive, inclusive user experiences.

• Take ownership of key UX deliverables — user journeys, personas, UX metrics, and more.

• Promote accessibility through inclusive design, awareness, and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a SaaS or enterprise setting.

• Proven experience leading and managing a design team of 3–10 individuals or multiple teams.

• Practical knowledge of AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma Make, Claude, Cursor, or similar) and a desire to continuously evolve your practice as the tools develop.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality design results at scale, evaluated through both quantitative and qualitative measures.

• A strong mentor and leader — straightforward with feedback, committed to your team's development, and capable of nurturing a healthy design culture within the organization.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary, globally distributed teams, with the ability to manage expectations of senior stakeholders.

• Comfortable functioning within a globally distributed team framework, with experience working with or for US-based product organizations being a plus.
