Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and design innovative materials for social media, presentations, email invitations, postcards, publications, event collateral, and more.

• Present designs effectively, articulating the rationale behind creative choices.

• Collaborate within a team setting on various projects spanning all of Civic Nation’s initiatives.

• Encourage new perspectives by utilizing fresh and distinctive design approaches.

• Partner with our creative team to develop strategic solutions for designs and workflows.

• Grasp Civic Nation’s initiatives while adhering to brand guidelines, templates, iconography, typography, illustrations, and visual imagery.

• Research, source, and manage photography that aligns with brand standards.

• Organize and deliver final files for both print and digital formats.

• Resolve technical issues in graphic files to ensure quality and integrity for printing and online use.

• Keep up-to-date with current design trends and techniques, sharing insights and inspiration with fellow creative team members.

• Perform other reasonable and related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in graphic design for both print and digital mediums.

• Experience in motion design, interaction design, and visual arts is advantageous.

• Preference for candidates with proven experience in consumer marketing, advocacy, nonprofit, or advertising sectors.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Proficient in Figma for creating and editing visual designs, collaborating with team members, and preparing final assets.

• Familiarity with work tools: Google Workspace and MS Office Suite; experience with Slack and Asana is a plus.
