This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Apply design thinking and principles to create innovative and effective proposal designs utilizing PowerPoint and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Review RFx (Request for Proposal, etc.) documents to grasp project requirements, scope, and complexity.
• Lead design initiatives for written documents and oral presentations.
• Conceptualize and design graphics that comply with government standards.
• Ensure that all designs meet compliance requirements at all times.
• Communicate and collaborate with the Proposal Management Team throughout the proposal development lifecycle.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to our PDC and Portfolio clients.
• Attend all necessary meetings, including kick-off, stand-ups, solutioning sessions, and color reviews to fully understand requirements, constraints, and obstacles, aiding in the navigation and provision of graphic-related input.
• Create captivating original cover designs for all proposal efforts.
• Exhibit a quick turnaround on proposal designs while upholding high quality.
• Organize and manage all graphic files (inbound, outbound, final, and draft graphics and art) in alignment with the proposal process.
• Show meticulous attention to detail to minimize rework caused by spelling errors, typos, or layout mistakes.
• Provide availability to teams as early as possible and ensure backup support when unavailable (including nights and weekends).
• Offer timely status updates to the Team Lead and immediately report any issues for resolution.
• Demonstrate the ability to balance multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrently in a fast-paced setting.
• Stay informed about design trends, color theory, and typography to produce high-quality proposal designs.
• Learn and adopt AI-enabled design and productivity tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative AI, PowerPoint Copilot) to enhance proposal graphics.
• Pursue opportunities to shadow colleagues and gain real-world experience in the field.
• Observe and lead concepting and solutioning sessions.
• Participate in Graphic Team Meetings and graphic exercises.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 3 years of professional design experience.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite.
