• Oversee and/or carry out activities related to pre-award and post-award processes for grants and contracts.
• Ensure that proposals adhere to the guidelines set by both the agency and the university.
• Manage a mid-sized department with a diverse portfolio of grants and contracts.
• Provide guidance to Principal Investigators (PIs) regarding administrative requirements for proposal submissions and budget oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, along with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Successful completion of the Research Administration Academy (RAA) is required.
• Advanced Grants Management (AGM) certification is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in grants and contracts.
• Proficient understanding of grants and contracts systems; solid working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
