This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• In your role with the RegTech Engineering team, you will leverage your financial acumen and coding skills to spearhead the architecture, development, and enhancement of our regulatory offerings.
• Collaborating closely with our Project Managers and Business Analysts, you will build on your previous experience to:
• Play a key role in executing our product roadmap by utilizing cutting-edge technology in the regulatory field. You will partner with fellow engineers who share your enthusiasm for preventing future financial crises.
• Enhance your coding and regulatory competencies, taking ownership of a portion of our portfolio and becoming a key reference point within the team.
• Bring innovative ideas to the platform's architecture, witnessing some of those ideas come to fruition.
• Grasp the primary challenges our product addresses. Engage in client calls and participate in internal reviews and design sessions to ensure our product remains current.
• Demonstrated experience in software development using C++, Java, or Python (with a preference for Python).
• Prior experience in collaborative software development (e.g., using Git).
• Background in finance or accounting (if you lack direct experience, you should be able to show a clear interest in these fields).
• Energetic, self-driven, and highly motivated.
• Resident of Singapore.
• **Preferred Requirements:**
• Experience with Linux or Unix environments.
• Previous work experience with COREP, FINREP, LIQUIDITY, or IFR in a regulatory department at a consultancy firm or bank.
• Experience with SaaS solutions in the regulatory sector.
• Proficiency in financial data modeling and querying (transactions, customers, products…)
