This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Responsible for maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing issues, installing or replacing components or complete systems, and executing additional maintenance or upgrades on off-season equipment.
• Performing performance assessments and routine maintenance on generators to guarantee optimal readiness, interpreting and adhering to blueprints or other design specifications for installation or repair.
• Installing fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, as well as other components, and conducting tests to ensure proper functionality.
• Accountable for responding promptly to power/generator alarms; must be available on call 24/7 if required and respond swiftly to assigned phone calls and emails.
• Conducting work with an awareness of all potential hazards associated with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment, switching gear, and other apparatus, including but not limited to falls, electric shock, falling objects, and traffic; employing safety equipment and practices; attending and participating in all required safety and training meetings.
• A minimum of two years of experience in generator maintenance is preferred, alongside at least one year of intensive work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance software, hardware, and processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of generator installation, maintenance, and repair; familiarity with electronic, mechanical, and electrical components; moderate computer proficiency.
• Basic understanding of relevant FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
