Functional SAP Solution Architect – S/4HANA Public Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead the comprehensive functional solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.

• Define complete business process designs that are in line with SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard principles.

• Provide architectural supervision across Finance (FI/CO), Order-to-Cash (SD), and Procure-to-Pay (MM) processes.

• Direct functional configuration tasks using Central Business Configuration (CBC).

• Ensure compliance with the Clean Core strategy and Public Cloud extensibility models.

• Facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops and promote the adoption of standard SAP functionalities.

• Evaluate and approve functional designs, configuration strategies, and testing scenarios.

• Assist in cutover planning, go-live strategies, and hypercare stabilization initiatives.

• Mentor functional consultants and manage coordination across multiple delivery workstreams.

• Collaborate with project leadership on scope planning, delivery assessments, and risk management.

• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by converting business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

• Coordinate with SAP, system integrators, and third-party vendors as necessary.

• Assist in the transition from implementation to AMS and long-term support models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of comprehensive SAP experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in delivering SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations (at least 2–3 projects).

• Architecture-level expertise in at least one core functional area (FICO preferred; SD or MM acceptable).

• Extensive knowledge of SAP Best Practices and the Fit-to-Standard methodology.

• Strong proficiency in using Central Business Configuration (CBC).

• In-depth understanding of S/4HANA Public Cloud limitations and extensibility options.

• Experience leading global or multi-region SAP initiatives.

• Strong capabilities in stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication.

• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification is preferred.

• Experience with GROW with SAP or RISE with SAP programs is a plus.

• Familiarity with SAP BTP extensions and integration patterns is a plus.

• Experience working within global delivery or BOT models is a plus.

• Previous involvement in Hypercare-to-AMS transition planning or support model design is a plus.

• Fluent English is essential.
