This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead a group of 6 engineers, overseeing delivery, execution quality, and technical guidance at the team level.
• Serve as the primary representative for the team, collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to team-level planning, prioritization, and resource management.
• Engage in hands-on development 30-40% of the time to build and enhance backend services utilizing .NET 8 and .NET 10.
• Participate 30-40% hands-on in the development and improvement of the product toolset based on PowerShell and Azure DevOps.
• Design and implement cloud-native applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Drive end-to-end delivery utilizing Azure DevOps, which includes CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release management.
• Work with infrastructure defined using Terraform and Crossplane.
• Ensure production readiness by focusing on security, observability, reliability, and performance.
• Take ownership of code quality, testing standards, and management of technical debt within the team.
• Balance on-call responsibilities and customer priorities with team-level delivery commitments.
• Mentor engineers, promote clear technical communication, and uphold high engineering standards.
• Engage in L3 on-call rotation, addressing incident triage and facilitating root-cause analysis.
• A minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on backend development in .NET.
• Demonstrated experience as a tech lead or senior engineer responsible for leading delivery within a team.
• Hands-on experience in building and operating applications on Azure (including AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and network services) or a comparable cloud platform.
• Solid grasp of containerized applications and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate alignment and execution without ambiguity.
