Full Stack/Backend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance backend services utilizing Python and Django to support our scheduling, coordination, and AI agent framework.

• Create and deploy autonomous agents that manage real recruitment processes - including scheduling coordination, candidate communication, and handoff logic - with minimal human involvement.

• Design APIs that interface with enterprise ATS systems and our React frontend.

• Implement AI-driven features employing LLMs; our team extensively utilizes Cursor, and we expect you to be adept in this environment.

• Improve database performance and query efficiency within a PostgreSQL backend that manages intricate scheduling logic.

• Engage directly with customers to identify pain points, validate solutions, and ensure a feedback loop between delivered products and user needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of practical experience with Python and Django - this is essential.

• Strong foundation in PostgreSQL: including query optimization, schema design, and indexing.

• Familiarity with REST API design and integration methodologies.

• Knowledge of TypeScript and React - while you won't need to focus solely on the frontend, you should feel comfortable navigating it.

• Expertise with AI coding tools; our team operates within the Cursor framework, and we expect you to do the same.

• Previous experience creating or working with AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, or agentic systems is highly desirable.

• A product-oriented mindset: you consider the "why" behind your work, not just the "how."

• Availability in the Eastern timezone to ensure overlap with the team.
