Full Stack Software Engineer – Platform

📋 Description

• Utilizing data from monitoring systems to identify issues

• Updating legacy code to align with current standards

• Assisting in the development and scaling of back-end services and APIs

• Performing infrastructure maintenance and scaling tasks, including infrastructure-as-code

• Collaborating with internal teams to discover and implement innovative solutions to existing workflow bottlenecks

• Writing, testing, and reviewing high-quality, maintainable code

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in building web applications

• High level of proficiency and experience with at least one of the following: PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, C/C++ or C#

• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL

• Solid grasp of computer science concepts, such as data structures, design patterns, and algorithms

• Awareness of the importance of writing testable and maintainable code

• Proven track record in building and maintaining highly scalable products

• Curiosity and innovation, with a passion for solving problems elegantly

• Experience with PHP using Laravel or any other MVC framework (Bonus)

• Familiarity with AWS RDS/EC2 (Bonus)

• Knowledge of Packer/Ansible (Bonus)

• Experience with Javascript - ES6, Webpack, Angular, React JS, React Native (Bonus)

• Understanding of payroll systems in Canada and/or the USA (Bonus)

• Background in developing internal tools involving collaboration across various teams within an organization (Bonus)

• Experience in a DevOps or Platform team integrating various technologies, services, APIs, and/or languages to achieve objectives (Bonus)

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience (Bonus)
