Full Stack Software Engineer – Billing Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Develop the billing and metering platform for ClickHouse cloud - Design and implement essential processes that ensure operational continuity.

• Create with intention. Have clear reasoning and justification for your decisions during the creative process to empower both yourself and your team in presenting ideas and marketing our solutions to various peers and stakeholders.

• Provide frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, mature, and highly available, simplifying infrastructure complexities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business strategies, user requirements, and optimal solutions.

• Integrate with various systems (Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, Support, etc…)

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in software development, specifically in building front-end systems operating in the cloud.

• Practical development experience in leading and delivering large-scale technical projects in partnership with multiple seasoned engineers.

• Technologies: Typescript, Serverless, EKS, SQS, Mongo, Node.JS (Proficiency in multiple programming languages is preferred), React.

• Familiarity with billing concepts, including credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, CSP marketplaces (AWS, GCP, Azure), invoicing, sales tax, auditing, and record-keeping.

• Strong sense of ownership and experience in developing and maintaining high-scale, distributed systems throughout the entire software lifecycle.

• Proficiency with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offerings.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and across engineering divisions.

• Strong analytical skills and solid experience in production debugging.
