This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Establish the reference architecture for the portal, encompassing frontend, backend, authentication, integration, and observability.
• Ensure alignment of API contracts with the integration layer, including OpenAPI, versioning, error modeling, and idempotence.
• Define resilience strategies for dependencies, such as timeouts, retries, and fallback/degradation methods.
• Set engineering standards, including repositories, CI/CD processes, code reviews, quality gates, and the Definition of Done.
• Advise on performance and SEO decisions, focusing on SSR/SSG in Next.js, caching strategies, and CDN usage.
• Collaborate with the Salesforce replatforming team to manage system-of-record, critical workflows, and coexistence strategies.
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI preferred) and service design.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, SSR/SEO, and web performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of API-first design and enterprise integration patterns.
• Familiarity with observability concepts (logs/metrics/traces) and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Working knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, IAM, logging/monitoring).
• Desired knowledge in Salesforce.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub) for process decoupling.
• Background in using MuleSoft or equivalent integration platforms.
• Experience with CIAM/IdP solutions (Okta/Azure AD B2C/Identity Platform or equivalent).
