Full Stack Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and sustain contemporary ELT pipelines and data transformation workflows.

• Develop and enhance web applications utilizing Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and React.

• Take ownership of projects from start to finish—from raw data ingestion to user-facing interfaces.

• Write clean, maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data).

• Utilize dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling tasks.

• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure through Terraform.

• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and prompt incident response.

• Remain updated with the modern data stack and continuously enhance our data architecture.

• Collaborate effectively with a distributed team primarily located in Mountain Time (Salt Lake City, UT).

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with ELT processes and the design of modern data pipelines.

• Proficiency in dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling tasks.

• Excellent SQL skills applicable to both analytical and operational workloads.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

• API design and implementation proficiency with GraphQL.

• Frontend development experience utilizing React.

• Familiarity with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services.

• Knowledge of Apache Airflow for orchestrating workflows.

• Experience using Looker for data visualization and business intelligence.

• Proficiency in Python scripting for data tasks and automation.

• Version control and collaboration skills using GitHub.
