Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain contemporary frontend applications utilizing React and Angular, emphasizing clear data flow, component composability, and long-term maintainability.

• Create and enhance real-time, interactive user interfaces for communication-intensive platforms, ensuring predictable state transitions and a consistent user experience under load.

• Develop reusable, functional UI components that prioritize explicit inputs, controlled side effects, and a clear distinction between rendering, state management, and external interactions.

• Design and incorporate rich data visualizations and dashboards, converting backend signals into intuitive and deterministic visual displays.

• Construct, refine, and contribute to internal design systems, ensuring consistency, reusability, and alignment across various products and teams.

• Work closely with backend and AI teams to integrate AI-driven features, including generative AI workflows, chat-based interfaces, and intelligent assistants with AI-enhanced UX flows.

• Ensure frontend applications are observable, testable, and resilient by integrating logging, performance monitoring, and error boundaries where necessary.

• Engage actively in architectural discussions, promoting clean abstractions, minimal shared mutable state, and systems that can scale across teams and features.

• Contribute to standardized project scaffolding and frontend architecture templates using tools like Cookiecutter to facilitate consistency, reproducibility, and swift onboarding.

• Collaborate on containerized frontend workflows and development setups that are aware of infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration of frontend applications with Dockerized environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional-level fluency in English, capable of clearly conveying technical concepts among design, product, and engineering teams.

• Extensive experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, crafting frontend code that emphasizes clarity, predictability, and well-defined contracts.

• Advanced proficiency in React, including Hooks, custom Hooks design, functional components, and modern state management techniques.

• Strong experience with Angular (v12+ preferred), including Angular CLI, RxJS, and NgRx, with a deep understanding of reactive programming and unidirectional data flow.

• Practical experience with real-time communication technologies, such as WebSockets or Socket.io.

• Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, NgRx, or Zustand, with the capability to reason about state transitions, effects, and lifecycle boundaries.

• Experience in constructing data visualizations using charting libraries like Chart.js or D3.js.

• Knowledge of design systems and component libraries, including Storybook, Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or Angular Material.

• Strong grasp of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing (Jest, Jasmine, Cypress).

• Comfort with RESTful APIs and well-defined backend contracts.

• Background in Agile/Scrum environments as part of a cross-functional team.
