FPV Flight Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct and mentor students on the tactical operation of Neros drones, ensuring safe and effective usage in real-world scenarios.

• Provide both theoretical classroom instruction and practical field training.

• Showcase advanced FPV flight techniques in acro mode while managing high-pressure situations.

• Offer clear and objective assessments of student performance.

• Assist the Training Lead in enhancing and updating course materials and user documentation to align with changing tactics, feedback, and system advancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient FPV Drone Pilot with expertise in acro mode.

• Background in teaching, coaching, or mentoring adults within a technical setting.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting issues related to FPV drones.

• Solid understanding of the complete UAV system.

• Skilled in safety and risk evaluation.

• Experience with mechanical assembly tasks.

• Strong documentation and communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capability to transport 50 lbs. of gear over 5 km of diverse terrain, stand for prolonged durations while equipped with body armor, and remain afloat in water for at least 10 minutes.

• FAA Part 107 Certificate is highly preferred; candidates must be prepared to study for and pass the Part 107 exam within three weeks of employment.

• Previous military or tactical UAS experience is desirable.
