Forward Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement scalable cloud-native applications and intelligent solutions.

• Construct end-to-end applications that incorporate AI functionalities.

• Develop APIs and microservices, utilizing AWS services to deliver high-performance solutions.

• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Promote best practices in software development, cloud architecture, and the adoption of AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Expertise in Python development for backend services and API creation.

• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.

• Practical knowledge of AWS Cloud Services, including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, Glue, Redshift, and CloudWatch.

• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-driven applications.

• Experience integrating with OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or comparable AI platforms.

• Understanding of AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Tool Calling, and Agentic Workflows.

• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and concepts related to Data Engineering.

• Strong grasp of Microservices Architecture and Event-Driven Systems.

• Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications.

• Strong skills in problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Excellent communication abilities and aptitude for stakeholder collaboration.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced remote setting with minimal supervision.
