This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage 1–4 migration projects simultaneously from initiation to completion: including scoping, planning, execution, and customer handoff.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers: conduct weekly check-ins, oversee stakeholder expectations, and promptly escalate potential risks before they escalate.

• Configure Datafold's Migration Agent and supervise the execution of migrations.

• Collaborate with Datafold's engineering team to implement migrations.

• Assist in refining and scaling our product and delivery playbook as the team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in data consulting, professional services, or a customer-facing data engineering position.

• Exceptional communication skills — equally adept at engaging in executive meetings and technical design discussions.

• Strong understanding of the modern data stack: including dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, orchestration tools, and key patterns (stored procedures, streaming, incremental processing).

• A strong sense of ownership — you proactively identify, address, and resolve issues while encouraging team collaboration without needing direction.

• Proficient AI user — utilizes AI daily and continuously seeks ways to enhance its effectiveness.

• Familiarity with legacy data stacks and patterns (ETL, stored procedures, etc.) and experience with data platform migration projects is a significant advantage.
