This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and manage our primary financial systems - currently NetSuite, with FloQast and Ramp set to be integrated soon - including their configuration, business logic, and daily operational health.
• Detect manual, repetitive, or error-prone finance processes (such as month-end closing, reconciliations, reporting, and procure-to-pay) and work to minimize or eliminate them through automation, opting for the simplest effective solutions and collaborating with engineering for more complex builds.
• Act as the expert in business logic and data within the finance sector, working alongside engineering to establish and uphold the rules and canonical definitions relied upon by the systems.
• Create cross-system integrations on a central, version-controlled, and observable integration platform in collaboration with engineering, instead of developing one-off scripts within individual tools.
• Serve as the dedicated systems liaison for Finance and Accounting: translating their requirements into system capabilities, nurturing those working relationships, and acting as the technical owner for onboarding, configuring, and managing financial vendors.
• Leverage modern AI tools to draft automations and expedite routine system tasks, enhancing your productivity without increasing manual workload.
• 3-6 years of experience in administering a financial or ERP system, with hands-on experience specifically in NetSuite administration required, which includes:
• configuration, customization, user access, roles, permissions, and workflows;
• core modules such as General Ledger, Advanced Revenue Management, Accounts, and subsidiary / multi-location structures;
• designing and implementing custom records, fields, and automations;
• building SuiteFlow automations to adapt to evolving business needs;
• managing the NetSuite integration ecosystem.
• A solid understanding of essential finance and accounting processes: month-end close, reconciliation, accounts payable / procure-to-pay, and revenue.
• A strong motivation to eradicate repetitive manual tasks, evidenced by a proven history of automating such processes (e.g., scripting, saved searches, workflow automation, or low-code/iPaaS tools).
• Sound judgment regarding the placement of logic - determining what should be system configuration, what should be a cross-system integration, and identifying which system serves as the source of truth for specific data points.
• Proficiency in at least one of SuiteScript, SQL, general scripting, or API-based automation, along with the ability to comprehend and analyze integrations, even when developed by engineering.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across both finance and engineering teams, with the capability to bridge the gap between them.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Nice to have:
• Experience in FloQast and/or Ramp administration.
• Background working with a central integration platform or in an event-driven setting.
• Familiarity with AI coding and automation tools in everyday tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of SuiteScript (1.0 / 2.0), RESTlets, or NetSuite web services.
• Unlimited Vacation
• Flexible Working Options
• Health Insurance
• Parental Leave
• Employee Stock Option Plan
• Home Office Allowance
• Professional Development Stipend
• Peer Recognition Program
