This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Data Management & Governance
• Take ownership of and maintain data relationships across finance, operations, commercial, and executive teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Create and document data dictionaries, mapping business logic to relevant data sources.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to establish and enforce data quality standards, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist in managing integrations between core business systems (ERP, CRM, billing platforms) and reporting infrastructure.
• Reporting & Visualization
• Sustain and enhance the business intelligence and visualization platform (Gooddata), ensuring that dashboards are timely, accurate, and user-friendly.
• Construct and refine automated reporting pipelines to minimize manual effort and enhance timeliness.
• Diagnose data issues and address ad-hoc reporting requests from stakeholders.
• Finance & Board Reporting
• Prepare and populate monthly and quarterly finance reports, including internal reporting tracker data and summaries.
• Assemble board reporting packs containing accurate KPIs, variance analysis, and trend commentary.
• Assist the finance team during month-end and year-end closing processes with data extraction and reconciliation.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a data analyst, finance analyst, or BI role, preferably within a SaaS or technology setting.
• Strong proficiency with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Solid SQL skills with the capacity to write and optimize queries across various data sources.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Comprehensive understanding of core financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV).
• Excellent communication skills—capable of translating complex data into clear narratives for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-motivated individual who flourishes in a fast-paced, scaling environment and is adept at building processes from scratch.
• Any experience with Python, R, or data transformation tools (e.g., dbt) is advantageous.
