Finance Systems Analyst – Billing & Revenue

📋 Description

• Take ownership and provide support for NetSuite functionality in critical areas such as GL, AP, AR, billing, and reporting, ensuring the system remains reliable and meets business requirements.

• Collaborate closely with the Accounting team to comprehend existing workflows, pinpoint inefficiencies, and transform manual processes into automated solutions within the system.

• Enhance and maintain data integrity across financial systems by overseeing mappings (GL, vendors, cost centers) and addressing inconsistencies at their source.

• Facilitate billing and revenue processes by ensuring the correct operation of the system, particularly regarding billing schedules, adjustments, and the impact on downstream revenue.

• Diagnose system and integration issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement sustainable solutions instead of temporary fixes.

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Payroll, RevOps) to foster finance-related system enhancements and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems in a finance or systems-oriented capacity.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting processes, including month-end closing, AP/AR, and fundamental revenue concepts.

• Proven experience with system integrations and data flows among financial tools (e.g., expense, procurement, payroll systems).

• Proficient in translating business and accounting needs into system configurations and enhancements.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, emphasizing the identification of root causes and the implementation of durable solutions.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and working collaboratively with various stakeholders from finance and business teams.
