Field Application Scientist – Clinical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• The Field Applications Scientist (FAS) partners with sales team members to grasp customer needs and devise suitable technical solutions.

• Deliver onsite and virtual demonstrations for products and applications, which include seminars, workshops, and “lunch and learn” sessions.

• Serve as the main field technical support for designated instrument portfolios, offering onsite installation assistance and initial user training.

• Cultivate and sustain robust, long-term relationships with customers, acting as a reliable technical advisor and resource for cellular therapy, flow cytometry, imaging, and related applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline (Biology, Immunology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field) is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in biological sciences, cellular therapy, flow cytometry, microscopy/spatial biology, or a related area.

• Practical experience in one or more of the following fields is essential: cellular therapy/cell and gene therapy, flow cytometry, or microscopy/spatial biology.

• Experience in customer-facing roles in field applications, technical support, or similar positions is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with clinical or regulated environments is advantageous where applicable.

• Proven expertise in laboratory instrumentation, data analysis, and workflow optimization within life science applications.
