This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with clients to plan, install, implement, and maintain hardware and software solutions.
• Design, manage, and oversee projects and tasks on behalf of our clients.
• Configure, build, document, test, modify, and maintain software applications.
• Proactively identify and resolve problems, determining the most effective course of action to meet client and customer needs.
• Work closely with end users to troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify issues related to applications by identifying hardware and software malfunctions.
• Collaborate informally with the client’s technical team to ensure process continuity.
• Conduct system enhancements, new feature builds, upgrades, quarterly updates, and optimizations.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into system requirements, making necessary adjustments to system logic.
• Perform system customizations, including the development of alerts, hard stops, data integration, order generation, document entry automation, and workflow adherence enforcement.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality for all activities and information accessed.
• Contribute to the development of tools and training to enhance end users’ competencies.
• Ensure that clinical upgrades, patches, and enhancements are meticulously planned and tested before implementation in the production environment.
• Generate concise ad-hoc reports.
• Prioritize projects based on client needs.
• Ensure timely completion of projects to meet established deadlines.
• Actively collaborate with the Chief Services Officer and clients to evaluate and adjust project priorities as necessary.
• Oversee ongoing maintenance of Information Systems and their interfaces, as well as support activities for our clients.
• Provide technical support to our clients.
• Deliver information and training related to Information Systems to our clients.
• Resolve problems on behalf of clients.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients and their staff.
• Undertake other tasks and projects as assigned by the CEO or the Chief Services Officer.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
• Epic Beaker AP or CP Certification (Required).
• Medical Technologist Degree (e.g., MT, MLT, MLS, etc.) (Preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Clinical Processes (Required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Laboratory Information Systems (Required).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Data Innovations Instrument Manager, including Rules (Preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of Epic Beaker CP and/or AP experience, including build, implementation, support, and hands-on end-user experience.
• Understanding of clinical standards, documentation methods, and current practices.
• Proven technical skills and capabilities related to all computer-related tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend all laboratory-related computer applications, with a capacity to learn and apply new applications and programs.
