
Entry Level Software Engineer – Site Reliability

• Collaborate with a globally distributed team located across various countries.
• Work alongside engineers to support the development of new features and services.
• Contribute to production-level code by writing and deploying code with your team.
• Create tools to monitor site stability and performance effectively.
• Help maintain the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure while adhering to platform Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Diagnose site issues using industry-leading tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.
• Enhance your expertise in Python, Puppet, Git, Jenkins, and Terraform to automate processes and utilize a comprehensive suite of AI tools.
• Develop custom solutions when existing products do not meet our scale, and contribute to open-source projects.
• Enable product teams and developers by promoting automation and self-service practices.
• Participate in light on-call rotations.
• A good understanding of Linux and a strong desire to learn more (we use Ubuntu, but any distribution is acceptable).
• Proficiency in at least one of your preferred modern programming languages: Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C++, etc.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (we utilize AWS, but experience with Azure or GCP is acceptable).
• A willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and learn every day.
• All communication for this position, both verbal and written, will be conducted in English.
