This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Clarify the meaning of words and phrases to create high-quality training datasets for AI language models.
• Utilize morphosyntactic and semantic analysis to accurately tag and validate grammatical concepts.
• Differentiate between read-aloud and spontaneous speech to enhance speech data annotation.
• Compose grammar explanations that are both linguistically sound and genuinely beneficial for learners.
• Develop vocabulary tasks that are based on authentic usage patterns rather than textbook examples.
• Construct lesson outlines that accurately reflect real-world English usage, informed by corpus and annotation data.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, computational linguistics, or NLP (Master's or PhD is a plus).
• Proven expertise in semantics and morphosyntax, ideally applied to corpus linguistics or NLP annotation tasks.
• Prior experience with language data annotation, corpus tagging, or projects involving AI/ML training data is highly preferred.
• Native or near-native English proficiency (CEFR C2).
