Senior NLP Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Train and optimize language models that drive our AI companions.

• Take ownership of and enhance agent harnesses, agentic loops, and the chat interface algorithm.

• Develop and manage the complete LLM stack — from model training to deployment in production.

• Monitor leading-edge NLP research and open-source advancements; convert them into an actionable NLP roadmap.

• Work in close collaboration with the validation, content, and dataset preparation teams to design experiments and assess model quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in training and fine-tuning large language models.

• Practical experience in creating agent harnesses and agentic pipelines.

• Strong comprehension of RLHF, DPO, and additional alignment/post-training methodologies.

• Expertise in transformers, PyTorch, and associated libraries.

• Experience in AI-centric startups or companies (strongly preferred).

• Backend engineering skills (Python, Go, C#).

• Familiarity with scalable deployment systems is a significant advantage.

• Preferred: Experience with multimodal LLMs.

• Background in computer vision and experience with image/video models.

• Experience with distributed training on large-scale datasets.
