This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Oversee the team dedicated to developing and expanding Stake's payment capabilities.
• Work in collaboration with Product, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Compliance departments.
• Establish the methods by which customers fund, transfer, and access their funds through Stake.
• Influence the technical, operational, and cultural frameworks that will facilitate Stake's upcoming growth phase.
• Enhance the reliability, scalability, and operational resilience of Stake's payment platform.
• Forge trusted partnerships across multiple teams and contribute to the overall engineering strategy.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams.
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to navigate architectural, platform, and operational choices.
• Familiarity with payment processors, banking integrations, reconciliation systems, or money movement infrastructure.
• Experience with high-availability, mission-critical systems.
• Background in collaborating closely with risk, compliance, fraud, or operational teams.
• Experience managing intricate third-party integrations, vendors, or platform partnerships.
• Proven track record of assisting in the scaling of engineering organizations during significant growth phases.
