Engineering Manager, RPA, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist the current RPA engineering team on a daily basis.

• Offer technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship throughout the team.

• Remove obstacles for engineers, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery.

• Play a role in recruiting and expanding engineering capabilities over time.

• Actively contribute by writing production-quality Python code, rather than solely reviewing.

• Facilitate the integration of RPA into the existing product infrastructure.

• Work together with product and engineering leadership to outline and schedule technical initiatives.

• Guarantee integration quality, reliability, and maintainability throughout the codebase.

• Supervise and participate in the creation of RPA workflows and automation systems.

• Ensure that automations are designed to scale and integrate smoothly with current platform components.

• Identify and address technical hurdles across ongoing RPA development projects.

• Uphold engineering standards and best practices within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Python backend engineering with exposure to production systems.

• Previous experience in a tech lead, senior engineer, or engineering manager capacity.

• Capability to manage engineers while remaining an effective individual contributor.

• Comfort in working across automation workflows, APIs, and backend integration tasks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for a remote, distributed team.

• Self-motivated and capable of functioning effectively without extensive processes or supervision.

• Nice to Have: Practical RPA development experience using platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar technologies.
