📋 Description

• Take charge of the comprehensive overhaul of the billing system — including CPQ configuration, quote-to-cash integration, billing platform connections, ERP synchronization, and everything in between.

• Design and develop the integrations that link LiveKit's product usage events with our billing platform, ensuring that metered and consumption-based billing remains accurate and verifiable.

• Implement change control measures, deployment practices, and audit trails for all billing-critical systems that fall under your management.

• Collaborate closely with Finance, RevOps, and Analytics to establish data contracts and ensure that billing outputs are consistently correct.

• Create systems capable of adapting to pricing model changes, new product lines, and increased volume without necessitating extraordinary one-off engineering efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in building integrations across CPQ, billing platforms (such as Metronome, Orb, Chargebee, or similar), and ERP systems.

• Understanding of quote-to-cash workflows and the common points of failure in practice.

• Approach billing-critical systems as though they are production infrastructure: version-controlled, tested, deployed through a proper CI/CD pipeline, and monitored with observability tools.

• A strong discipline in change management — you prioritize safe deployments, rollback strategies, and audit trails, rather than simply "pushing and seeing."

• Confidence in managing systems that require Finance-grade accuracy, backed by rigorous practices.

• Technically proficient enough to build and maintain the integrations independently, while also being a trusted partner for Finance and RevOps stakeholders across functions.

• Experience with usage-based, consumption, or event-driven billing models.
