📋 Description

• Acts as the process compliance authority for the entire organization concerning Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs and Driver Qualification files.

• Executes responsibilities at a professional level across all tiers in the field.

• Analyzes crucial areas for process knowledge, compliance, and decision-making related to Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews and other DOT-required elements.

• Aids in the collection and analysis of quarterly drug and alcohol data to address missing information, compliance status, proper categorization of testing, and other aspects related to the management of the drug and alcohol testing program.

• Assists the Substance Abuse Program Follow-Up Testing Program in identifying, documenting, and concluding required testing.

• Collaborates with the Sr. Manager, Employment Programs to ensure that all aspects of compliance are upheld.

• Serves as the main contact for managing Company Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) and the California Employer Pull Notice (CA EPN) program.

• Evaluates and grades MVRs according to DOT and Company standards; informs relevant parties of any issues.

• Provides guidance to HR regarding issues identified in the MVR that affect employment status.

• Supports all elements of random and follow-up drug testing programs (DOT, Non-DOT, Energy Services, etc.).

• Assists the field with FMCSA Driver Qualification file compliance concerns.

• Reviews DOT applications and compares them with background check verification of education/employment to resolve outstanding compliance issues and follows up on vendor-related matters.

• Offers support for acquisition activities as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of pertinent work experience.

• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a role where managing employee data/reports for multiple items has been a key responsibility (in addition to the educational requirement) is mandatory.

• Three (3) years of experience in hiring and utilizing vendor systems, as well as DOT/FMSCA compliance and I-9 compliance, is preferred.

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements: Human Resources/Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI certification is required.

• Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities: Required: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
