This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design User Interface (UI) utilizing the Python Tkinter library
• Create controls and monitoring software, as well as low-level requirements-based tests to produce comprehensive LDRA verification procedures
• Evaluate and address structural coverage gaps
• Collaborate with the customer to guarantee full test coverage, accurate expected outcomes, and effective communication/disposition of test results
• Execute tests in the LDRA test environment on both simulated and actual target environments
• Analyze test outcomes and historical test time data during test development and regression runs to assist in troubleshooting software issues
• Notify the customer of findings in cases where test results do not meet requirements or anticipated outcomes
• Write and engage in formal reviews of test cases, procedures, and results
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Experience in developing Python UI with Tkinter or comparable libraries (such as pySide, pyQt, wxPython, etc.)
• Experience in conducting low-level software requirements-based testing in accordance with DO-178B/C or other safety-critical process standards
• Familiarity with testing using LDRA or a similar tool (e.g., VectorCAST)
• Strong understanding of C programming, ideally with experience in developing C code
• Basic knowledge of control laws and redundancy management
