Dorm Therapy Editorial Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Generate and propose several story concepts each week.

• Compose and verify 3-5 articles weekly, covering everything from current news to SEO-focused features.

• Identify opportunities for additional content development.

• Update existing SEO content, adhering to optimization best practices and editorial guidelines.

• Assist in the creation and expansion of supplementary content as required.

• Participate in Dorm Therapy team meetings.

• Aid in monitoring and reporting analytics.

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.

• Excellent writing and fact-checking abilities, with the capacity to engage with college student readers in a friendly manner.

• Keen understanding of internet trends, popular culture, and subjects pertinent to our Dorm Therapy audience.

• Detail-oriented approach to writing, communication, and organization.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adapt strategies based on new information.

• Comfortable navigating technical systems and content management systems (CMS).
