This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Assists team members with their leave of absence applications and provides guidance throughout the process.

• Manages all leave of absence documentation in accordance with established protocols and legal requirements.

• Delivers prompt and precise responses to employees and management regarding daily concerns and operations.

• Oversees the administration of the FMLA policy.

• Evaluates FMLA documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Makes recommendations regarding the approval or denial of FMLA requests based on federal guidelines.

• Coordinates the exchange of correspondence, forms, and other documents through the claims system.

• Engages with providers for clarification when necessary.

• Prioritizes customer experience to ensure optimal service for our clients.

• Proven track record of delivering precise, reliable, and trustworthy service to our customers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Short Term Disability, Absence, or Paid Leave claim management, or a related field in health claims is preferred.

• Skills in claim/risk management and technical expertise in contract interpretation and administration.

• Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Proven success in attaining Individual Development objectives.

• Goal-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Excellent critical thinking, communication, organization, and time management abilities.

• Established customer service capabilities.

• Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization.

• Proficient PC skills are required (i.e., Windows operating system; Word; Excel; PowerPoint).
