Director, Partner Solution Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Identifying, qualifying, and exploring innovative approaches for consultancies, systems integrators, and managed services providers to extract value from our platform.

• Collaborating closely with our partners to design, develop, and enhance partner services utilizing Tanium in alignment with our shared business objectives.

• Establishing and nurturing relationships with partners, ranging from engineers to executive sponsors.

• Assisting partners in re-imagining their services through the Tanium platform.

• Overseeing the technical relationship with key stakeholders at the partner organization.

• Building trust with all levels within the partner organization.

• Ensuring progress on initiatives while overcoming institutional inertia.

• Educating partners on effectively using Tanium in their services.

• Demonstrating, deploying, operationalizing, and extending the Tanium Platform.

• Addressing challenges and developing new solutions (R&D).

• Meeting the needs of our partners.

• Excelling in a team-oriented environment by making significant individual contributions while collaborating with and uplifting teammates.

• Applying critical thinking across the partner service development, creation, enablement, and sales processes.

• Collaborating closely with the Tanium Strategic Alliances Business Development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 6 years of experience working with partners and integrating software solutions with service providers.

• Background in a role that requires bridging the gap between business and technology, such as pre-sales engineering or consulting.

• Strong technical foundation, developed through over 5 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas of the modern IT environment, with a broad understanding across several domains and deep expertise in one or more of the following:

• Endpoint Security

• Endpoint Support/Troubleshooting

• Incident Response

• Systems Management

• Systems Administration

• Software Engineering

• Utility Scripting (e.g., bash, PowerShell, VBScript, Python, etc.)

• Ability to envision how technology can create or enhance business opportunities for service providers.

• Proven track record of driving projects from concept to execution.

• Hands-on experience with Tanium is a significant advantage.

• Naturally team-oriented with a mission-first mindset.
