📋 Description

• The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for achieving clinical and operational excellence within a specified book of business in an Envision Physician Services operating unit.

• This role focuses on enhancing patient care processes and outcomes by collaborating with local medical leadership and frontline clinicians.

• Within their designated book of business, the DCS harmonizes the needs and opportunities of clients with internal EMG relationships across their portfolio.

• The DCS identifies opportunities for improvement within their book of business and works in partnership with the operating unit leadership team to support medical directors and clients in achieving performance enhancements and goals.

• The DCS drives the implementation of clinical quality initiatives, service line clinical operations, and corporate strategies.

• Additionally, the DCS utilizes their client relationships to drive improvements in clinician engagement, customer value, and contract retention by collaborating with Envision business owners.

• They will assess and pinpoint areas for improvement within our health system and hospitals.

• Participates in and supports initiatives aimed at delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven track record of success, including but not limited to physician relations, health system structures/care transitions, quality, clinical operations, and relationship building.

• Experience in physician relations, quality improvement, process enhancements, and customer service.

• Strong communication skills with executive management, including EMG leadership (VP, SVP) and health system C-suite leadership at the regional, divisional, and/or site level.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

• RN licensure is required.

• 5-10 years of relevant hospital experience, including at least 5 years of clinical departmental leadership in a healthcare facility.

• Over 5 years of experience in people leadership.

• LEAN/Six Sigma training preferred (must be obtained within the first 12 months in the role).

• Expert proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Advanced skills in data acquisition, analysis, and visualization for the purposes of education, presenting results, and tracking/monitoring performance and successes.

• Experience with flowchart and diagramming software (e.g., Visio).
