Director of Clinical Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Co-manage Tiny Health’s clinical evidence roadmap alongside the Head of Science

• Establish study objectives, endpoints, and success criteria that align with product and regulatory ambitions

• Develop scalable clinical research processes and infrastructure to support company growth

• Act as a representative for Tiny Health in clinical partnerships and external research discussions

• Direct the design and dissemination of observational, interventional, and real-world evidence studies

• Supervise protocol creation, statistical analysis plans, and data collection methodologies

• Oversee study timelines, budgets, risks, and regulatory documentation

• Assist with regulatory submissions as necessary

• Collaborate with Bioinformatics and Engineering to ensure analytical precision and suitable data capture

• Work with Product and Marketing teams to convert findings into clear, defensible claims

• Lead study reporting efforts, which include reports, abstracts, and peer-reviewed articles

• Present findings to internal leadership, partners, and scientific audiences

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, MD, MS/MPH, or an equivalent degree in life sciences, clinical research, or a related discipline

• Over 6 years of experience in clinical research within biotech, diagnostics, digital health, or academia

• Proven experience in the design and execution of human clinical studies

• Practical experience with IRB submissions and oversight of human subjects research

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing external collaborators (CROs, academic partners, etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience navigating ambiguity and establishing scalable systems in early-stage or resource-limited settings
