Director, Identity Security – Privileged Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Implement and advance Danaher's global Privileged Access Management program.

• Create PAM reference patterns, including Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough-Access (JEA), session isolation and recording, vault topology, break-glass procedures, and management of non-human identities/secrets.

• Lead the engineering of PAM platform configuration standards, integrations, and automation efforts.

• Facilitate discovery, onboarding, and credential rotation processes.

• Oversee privileged-account onboarding standards, exception requests, and break-glass procedures.

• Address and remediate gaps in privileged-access coverage across various business units.

• Collaborate with identity, security operations, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, and audit teams to incorporate privileged-access controls.

• Manage the PAM platform and maintain vendor relationships.

• Provide program status updates, risk posture assessments, and metrics to security leadership and audit stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 14 years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on privileged access management or identity and access management.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise or global PAM architecture, operating models, or control frameworks across multiple business units.

• Hands-on experience in engineering enterprise PAM platforms such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea.

• Experience with privileged-account onboarding, vaulting, session management, rotation, and integrations.

• Ability to work independently across IAM, security operations, cloud, infrastructure, and audit teams.

• A bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in managing non-human/service-account and secrets management at scale is a plus.

• Possession of CISSP, CISM, or relevant PAM platform leadership/practitioner certification is advantageous.

• Experience in managing globally distributed or matrixed teams and services is a plus.
