📋 Description

• Poppy & Peonies is seeking a performance-oriented, brand-conscious Director of Digital Marketing to spearhead customer acquisition, paid media, and digital growth strategies across all platforms.

• Take ownership and enhance the paid digital marketing strategy across Meta, TikTok, Google, and other emerging acquisition channels.

• Develop and maintain relationships with the paid media agency.

• Oversee key acquisition metrics and results.

• Manage and refine acquisition budgets with a strong emphasis on efficiency, scalability, and return on ad spend.

• Direct full-funnel media planning that includes prospecting, retargeting, and campaign amplification initiatives.

• Discover new customer acquisition opportunities, audience strategies, and growth channels that facilitate long-term scalability.

• Collaborate closely with creative teams to generate high-performing paid assets that align with brand standards and campaign objectives.

• Track and optimize acquisition metrics such as CAC, ROAS, MER, and new customer growth.

• Formulate integrated digital growth strategies that align with revenue targets, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.

• Lead testing initiatives across creative elements, landing pages, messaging, audience segmentation, and media buying tactics.

• Develop audience targeting strategies to enhance acquisition efficiency and campaign effectiveness.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive campaign execution across marketing channels without directly managing retention channels.

• Identify opportunities to enhance attribution, forecasting, and media mix effectiveness.

• Manage digital marketing reporting and communicate channel performance, insights, and growth opportunities to leadership.

• Create dashboards and forecasting models that provide visibility into acquisition efficiency and marketing contributions.

• Analyze campaign performance, customer acquisition trends, and channel data to guide future investment decisions.

• Foster a culture of testing, optimization, and performance accountability within the digital marketing function.

• Work closely with creative, ecommerce, finance, and leadership teams to synchronize marketing strategies with broader business objectives.

• Represent digital marketing in leadership discussions, providing a clear perspective on growth opportunities and investment priorities.

• Mentor and lead team members, agencies, and external partners with clarity and accountability.

• Promote a culture of agility, experimentation, and thoughtful decision-making throughout the marketing organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading digital marketing and customer acquisition for a direct-to-consumer, retail, fashion, or lifestyle brand.

• Extensive knowledge in paid social, paid search, media buying, and performance marketing strategies.

• Strong grasp of attribution, analytics, and customer acquisition metrics.

• Practical experience with advertising platforms, including Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and associated tools.

• Proven track record of scaling revenue and customer growth through data-driven acquisition strategies.

• Experience in managing agencies, freelancers, or external marketing partners.

• Robust analytical mindset with the capability to translate data into actionable business insights.

• Highly organized and adept at balancing strategy with execution in a dynamic environment.

• A builder mentality with enthusiasm for ownership, experimentation, and responsible growth scaling.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative, ecommerce, and leadership teams.

• A genuine passion for fashion, lifestyle, and community-driven brands.
