Director, Compliance Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the strategic vision for the Compliance Operations department

• Continuously evaluate compliance risks and reduce operational barriers

• Manage daily compliance operations across all markets

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to create technology-driven, automated solutions

• Lead state licensing audits and prepare for audit readiness

• Ensure operational preparedness for new markets and service offerings

• Convert regulatory updates into practical operational requirements

• Build and nurture a high-performing team of 5–10 compliance and operations experts

• Develop and maintain essential compliance metrics and dashboards

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in operations, product operations, or compliance roles within a technology-driven or high-growth organization

• Proven experience at the intersection of technology and operations

• Successful history of scaling functional areas

• Exceptional analytical capabilities with experience handling large, complex, or imperfect data

• Strong skills in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management

• Proven experience in people management, including building high-performing teams

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
