This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more states.
• Develop innovative, thought-provoking, and essential insights content that captures attention.
• Generate fresh insights and ideas through thought leadership, providing compelling and actionable solutions to client needs.
• Conduct thorough analyses to uncover root causes of client obstacles and reshape perspectives to enhance strategy.
• Establish insightful positions within a team of analysts.
• Deliver independent insights to Gartner leaders to advance research agendas.
• Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and changes.
• Offer clients and prospects actionable guidance through virtual or in-person engagements.
• Design and present materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Support sales initiatives and act as the market's voice.
• Ensure timely, high-quality peer reviews of content.
• Represent Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies as an industry authority.
• Engage in innovation, ideation, and research dialogues.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Insights community.
• Identify enhancements in research processes and develop new methodologies.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Facilitate regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of relevant industry or field experience.
• Extensive knowledge of application security technologies, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficient in SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA.
• Familiarity with Checkmarx, Snyk, GitLab, and GitHub.
• Practical experience in securing AI-driven application development, including agentic coding and AI-generated code.
• Experience with AI-driven vulnerability discovery, prioritization, and remediation.
• Awareness of emerging practices for securing AI-enabled applications, including risks associated with AI agents, MCPs, and APIs.
• Understanding of threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability management in AI-enabled settings.
• Strong executive presence and ability to build credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Outstanding research and writing skills.
• Proficient written, verbal, analytical, and presentation abilities.
• Capability to analyze and synthesize data while applying patterns and frameworks.
• Ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and simple manner.
• Subject matter expertise and comfort in presenting at both large and small-scale speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial knowledge.
• Comprehensive understanding of the global and competitive landscape within the domain.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across multicultural global teams.
